Novant Health received the 2011 President's Award from Professional Research Consultants (PRC), a nationally known healthcare research company. The President's Award is PRC's highest recognition, presented to only one healthcare organization in the nation each year. Novant was honored for its success in permeating a customer-focused culture of service excellence throughout the organization. Novant also received the 2006 President's Award, making us the only health system in the country to earn this honor twice. 

Novant Health also received the prestigious Ernest A. Codman award in 2008 and 2004 for improving the quality and safety of care provided to patients, presented by The Joint Commission.

Novant has been nationally recognized as the Best in Industry for Working Mothers by Working Mother Magazine and one of the Top 40 Family-Friendly NC Companies by Charlotte Parent and Piedmont Parent magazines.

In addition, Novant Health has been named to Modern Healthcare's list of the top 100 integrated health networks in the nation, ranking 14th in 2011.
